Attend the ultimate post-match celebration when the MCG gates are open to the public from 6pm on Toyota AFL Grand Final day on Saturday 1 October. After the 2016 Toyota AFL Grand Final, home-grown talents Vance Joy and The Living End will play at the Virgin Australia Premiership Party. You can enjoy free performances from these artists and see the presentation of the 2016 AFL Premiers. The event runs from 6pm to 8pm with fans able to gain access via Gates 5, 6 and 7 at the MCG.

Parrtjima: A Festival in Light - FREE event

Alice Springs, the hub of the Red Centre, will be aglow this September as Parrtjima – A Festival in Light comes to life under the night sky. The first authentic Indigenous light festival of its kind in the world and Australia’s biggest-ever light show installation, Parrtjima– A Festival in Light will illuminate more than 2.5km of the majestic MacDonnell Ranges. Running over 10 nights from 23 September to 2 October 2016, the free event will showcase the oldest continuous culture on earth through the newest technology, using the 300-million-year-old landscape as a natural canvas. Bathurst 1000

The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship is one of the most loved sports in Australia and when it comes to races they don’t get much bigger than the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 from 6-9 October at Mount Panorama. Four days of non-stop track action culminates in the 1000km race over 161 laps of the famous Mount Panorama circuit this race. Bathurst is located approximately 200kms from Sydney and a variety of accommodation options are available from hotels to camping.
